“Yay!!” Andie smiled wide. She drank the rest of the tea in her cup and waited for Doe to finish eating. She was excited. They had not been around each other in awhile and since it was the holidays, they did not have to worry about curfew or school work. Doe finished eating and Andie packed up her things. Linking arms with Doe, Andie kissed her on the cheek and said, “Lead the way my dear!”
Doe smiled to herself, Andie was always so excited about everything. It looked like she tried to calm down a bit, at least enough for Doe to finish eating the rest of the sandwiches and drink her tea. Andie started to busy herself around Doe, clearing up books and papers that she had laid out over the table. Once that was done, they both got up and headed toward the grand staircase at the end of the hall and climbed the stairs which leveled out on a large hallway. Doe led Andie through a maze of corridors, passing through the kitchens, and ending in the secret door to their common room. A big fire was blazing in the middle as they walked in, and she smiled at the warmth that washed over her.

Andie tried not to choke on her sandwich as Doe inhaled hers. “Hungry?” Andie asked, taking her last bite. Pushing the plate towards Doe, she said, “Here. Have all you would like! I’m not going to eat anymore.” Andie poured herself some tea into one of the now two cups on the table. After taking a sip, she asked, “So what are planning on doing for the rest of the night? We should hang out. It has been way too long.” Andie put on her best face before asking, “Please? We could cuddle by the fire and talk and make smores or something.” Andie placed her hand on Doe’s and continued looking at Doe with pleading eyes.
She laughed, Doe could never say no when Andie made that face. It kind of reminded her of a begging puppy, and the thought made her let out a laugh. “Yeah, we should, holidays are ending tomorrow anyway. We can go to my dorm, no offense, but it’s kind of cold down there in the dungeons, and I know how you hate it when it’s cold.” Doe said, smiling down at her, while grabbing another one of the sandwiches.

Andie spun on her heel when she heard her name and smiled when she saw who had spoken it. With a spring in her step, Andie walked back the way she had came and embraced Doe. “God I’ve missed you,” Andie breathed into her hair a smile on her face. Letting Doe free, she placed her hand on Doe’s cheek. “Hello love.” Andie motioned Doe to sit down with her. “Care for a sandwich?” Andie asked, still smiling at the sight of her lovely girlfriend.
Doe cocked her head to the side, and said, “Of course you did,” before hugging her back. “I missed you, too.” She sat down next to her, and placed her arm on the table before resting her chin on her hand. “And, I’d love one.” She said in response, raising one of her eyebrows. Carefully, Doe picked off a small sandwich from the very top of the pile and crammed it into her mouth in one motion.

Andie was walking through the castle, her sweater wrapped around her tightly. She was heading to the Great Hall for a late dinner. There was no one in the Great Hall when she sat down at her table. A plate, some sandwiches, and tea appeared before her and she smiled. Taking a bite out of one of the sandwiches, she pulled out her book from her bag. With a sigh, she went to reading. After about 10 minutes, she huffed and put the book down. It was too quiet. Andie stood, sandwich in hand, and started walking slowly alongside her table. She hummed to herself to fill the silence in the big room. She was starting on her second song when she heard footsteps heading towards the Hall.
Doe walked slowly, taking her time to make sure she didn’t slip on some of the melted snow lying on the ground from all the students trekking in and out of the castle. Scanning the four tables, she saw only a couple of people, a couple Ravenclaws talking, a gaggle of Gryffindors just sitting down, and from the Slytherin one girl pacing the length of the table.
She walked closer to her, and caught the sound of a tune. A smile spread across her lips before she started again. “Andie?” Doe asked, even though she knew it was her. She leaned against the table and waited for Andie to walk back towards her, still grinning.
